Multimedia Technology
Multimedia Technology Department is concerned with interactive, computer-based applications that allow people to communicate ideas and information with digital and print elements. The Department applies interactive computer elements such as graphics, text, video, sound and animation to deliver a message. Professionals in the field use computer software to develop and manage online graphics and content. The work that Multimedia Technology Specialists produce is used in various media, such as training programs, web pages and news sites. The Multimedia Department exposes students to learn how to use computer programs to create interactive presentations or materials. Our students are trained to use website development software like Cascading Style Sheet or the Adobe suite, which includes Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. They also learn design techniques and are encouraged to develop their own creative styles and make personal works of digital art. Entry Requirements The entry requirements into National Innovation Diploma in Multimedia Technology include: Students who have completed senior secondary school and obtained 5 credits at NECO or WAEC at not more than two (2) sittings in the following: Mathematics English Any Science subject – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science Fine Art/Technical Drawing Any of the Social Sciences – Economics, History, Literature in English, Geography Completion of a relevant Vocational Enterprise programme Graduates of tertiary institutions APPLY Multimedia Technology courses typically includes :

There are many employment opportunities for Multimedia Technology Professionals in a variety of industries. Anything that needs to be communicated to an audience can contain digital and print images, text or animation to attract attention and pass a message across.
